I clearly remember the first time I met with Hilary + Jonathan (at Starbucks.. duh!)  Jonathan showed up in a Philadelphia Eagles t-shirt (soon after they won the Super Bowl)… so needless to say, I had my fingers crossed that I’d be lucky enough to photograph their wedding day (they clearly had good taste in professional sport’s teams).   Apparently crossing your fingers does bring good luck, because I am photographing Hilary and Jonathan’s wedding next year, and I am so incredibly excited!!

Remember the eternal rain of May? Unfortunately, that rain caused us to reschedule their first engagement session.  Not only am I so thankful for easy-going and understanding couples, but I love when we get rewarded with the most beautiful golden light when we finally do get to do our session! I mean guys… this light… I’m swooning!!  When Hilary + Jonathan first pulled into the parking lot, she warned me that they were awkward in front of the camera (I hear this all the time).  I don’t know about you guys, but I think she was very wrong about that! I mean, LOOK AT THEM! They’re stunning!  Awkward? Not even close.
