This wedding has an extra special place in my heart. I met Jill about a year ago, when we met to see if she would like to be my assistant when I photographed weddings, and she has been right by my side ever since. When Jill asked me to photograph her wedding, I was so incredibly honored (especially because she had seen every little behind-the-scene frantic moment that goes into how I photograph a wedding day). I didn’t get to meet Dallas until this past April, because he was deployed, but when I did finally meet the man that Jill talked to fondly about for months and months, I was so happy to see just how incredibly in love they are and how happy he makes her. As I photographed their wedding day, I remember standing there with the biggest smile on my face and tears in my eyes because I was so incredibly happy to watch someone who means so much to me marry the man of her dreams!
